For the past two decades, I have dedicated myself to working with diverse modalities of somatic embodiment and trauma therapy.
Now, for the first time, I am offering a dedicated space focused on healing the nervous system, helping you gain resilience and empowerment over your own life.
WHAT WE OFFER
Learn how to use simple, body-based interventions grounded in polyvagal theory and neurobiology to facilitate trauma healing.
Our approach includes therapeutic movement to release stored tension and trauma, increasing awareness of your body to reconnect with your physical self, and utilizing visualization techniques to support emotional and mental healing.
We also focus on methods to regulate your nervous system, promoting calm and balance, along with a variety of embodied techniques designed to foster resilience and empowerment.
ABOUT US
This unique space is dedicated entirely to somatic trauma healing, founded by Beta Gaiana Lisboa, a passionate Brazilian spiritual seeker. With over 25 years of extensive study and research, Beta has cultivated a profound understanding of somatic embodiment and trauma therapy. She is the founder of Dynamic Spiral Yin Fascial Yoga, a Fascia Awareness Trauma Informed Yoga System, and the author of the book Dynamic Spiral Yin Fascial Yoga: A Trauma Informed Guide for Women's Embodiment. Since 2010, Beta has been residing in Bali, where she facilitates various therapeutic sessions, including Somatic Experiencing Trauma therapy, Trauma release breathwork, Women's embodiment coaching, and Menopause support.
The offerings encompass a range of complementary therapeutic somatic practices, providing a comprehensive and holistic approach to healing. Upon arrival, an initial assessment helps determine the most suitable healing process, tailored specifically to each individual's unique needs. Recognizing that nervous systems are shaped by distinct imprinted experiences and trauma responses, such as fight, flight, or freeze, a variety of specialized healing methods are available to support each person's journey.

In addition, collaboration with therapists specializing in relational and sexual trauma provides further support. Those facing challenges such as daily anxiety, dysregulation, autoimmune diseases, fatigue, digestive issues, body aches and pain, deep grief and sadness, apathy, hyperarousal states, constant fearfulness, restlessness, lack of concentration, eating disorders, panic attacks, and other trauma-related conditions can find a path to healing here.

We tailor a retreat program to address your needs and your availability to commit to this healing work and have a more profound healing journey.
You will be held in a safe container for one, two, three, four, or five days.
Each day, you will experience a combination of (4) four somatic trauma healing modalities that complement each other, offering you a chance to dischange the emotional burden from your body, recharge and regulate your nervous system, embody your presence in your body, reconnect to yourself, and integrate the the new version of your best self.

Somatic Experiencing Therapy
Somatic Experiencing® Therapy is a body-centered approach focused on natural body responses correlated to post-traumatic stress.
If you have been experiencing anxiety, depression, shame, stress, physical pain, addictions, sleep issues, eating disorders, nightmares, hypervigilance, overreaction to threat, obsessive-compulsive disorder, shutdown, lack of libido, digestive issues, constant fear mode, foggy memory, confusion, lack of concentration, mood swings, numbness, constant anger, or hopelessness, Somatic Experiencing trauma therapy will definitely help you.
In each session:
- You will be supported in releasing and listening to the trauma symptoms that have become trapped in your body, constantly taxing your nervous system.
- You will release old patterns and rewire the nervous system to a new way of relating to yourself and others around you.
- You will be reconnected to your body, build resilience, self-regulation, and more presence in all areas of your life.
- You will be guided through a mindful process to explore the root cause of your struggles and the limiting patterns in your life story.
By engaging in abdominal organ massage and activating the parasympathetic response, you can help regulate the activity of the dorsal vagus nerve and promote a sense of safety and relaxation in the body.
This massage helps release the freeze trauma response by working with the body's nervous system to activate the parasympathetic response and release stored tension and stress. When the body experiences trauma or stress, the freeze response can be triggered as a way of protecting itself.
This response is mediated by the dorsal vagus nerve, which can cause a shutdown in the body's physiological responses and lead to feelings of numbness or dissociation.

Systemic Ancestral Healing Work
Systemic Ancestral Healing Work is a process of discovery, revealing, and releasing inherited wounds, traumas, and blessings that have been passed down by our ancestors.
We all have the opportunity to uncover both positive and negative issues that have been transmitted through the bloodlines from one generation to the next.
This healing work applies shamanic ancestral healing techniques, combining psychology, meditation, clear vision, emotional understanding, and acknowledgment of our place in our family system. By doing so, we can repair our relationships and bring our lives back into balance.
Inner-Child Healing Work is an approach to recognizing and healing childhood trauma. It acknowledges that our behaviors as adults stem from our childhood experiences.
Inner-child work focuses on addressing our unmet needs by reparenting ourselves.
This powerful process can lead to emotional breakthroughs.
During this work, you may realize that multiple inner children are stuck with the same emotions, and addressing each of these inner children is beneficial.

In somatic embodiment practices, you use the body as a tool for healing through self-awareness, mindfulness, connection, self-regulation, finding balance, and creating self-acceptance.
This practice explores the relationship between our physical being and our energy.
I will guide you through a conscious journey to meet the stories of your life stored in your body, helping you to understand and integrate these experiences.

Our myofascial system serves as the storage room for our emotions and memories.
Muscles and fascia play a significant role in our emotional states, and tension in these tissues can perpetuate feelings of stress, anxiety, and depression.
In this bodywork session, you will be held in a safe environment, allowing your body to discharge, release, and integrate new information available for your life.

Somatic Trauma Release Breathwork
Somatic Trauma Release Breathwork is a method based on circular breathing combined with trauma release postures that support the flow of kundalini energy throughout the body.
We start by preparing the body with somatic embodiment practices and fascia release.
Once the body is open and ready, the session is supported with shamanic beats and other healing techniques.
